Eligible vs Not Eligible Returns

Return eligibility depends on timing, product condition, completeness, authorization, and manufacturer rules.

Eligible returns may include

  • Return requested within 30 days of delivery
  • Product is unused and uninstalled
  • Original packaging is available
  • Manuals, accessories, hardware, keys, remotes, and included parts are complete
  • Return is authorized by McHenry before shipment
  • Product is not special-order, custom, final sale, or excluded by manufacturer policy

Returns may not be eligible if

  • Used or installed equipment
  • Equipment damaged by use, misuse, improper assembly, or jobsite handling
  • Missing packaging, parts, accessories, manuals, or documentation
  • Unauthorized returns sent without approval
  • Returns requested after the return window
  • Special-order, custom-configured, clearance, electrical, hydraulic, opened consumable, or manufacturer-final-sale items

Heavy Equipment Return Details

Mini excavators, compact tractors, mowers, car lifts, trailers, shop machinery, and attachments require extra review because freight and equipment condition affect return handling.

Freight return review

Heavy equipment returns may require freight planning, loading access, carrier coordination, and return documentation.

Condition and usage review

McHenry may request photos or condition details to confirm whether equipment has been used, installed, assembled, modified, or damaged.

Return freight responsibility

Customers may be responsible for return freight on non-defective returns. Free return freight is not promised unless the issue is McHenry/manufacturer error or confirmed damage/defect.

Restocking may apply

Restocking fees may apply depending on the product, manufacturer rules, and reason for return.

Parts & Attachments Returns

Parts, accessories, and attachments may have product-specific return limits based on the item type and manufacturer rules.

Refund Processing

Refunds are reviewed after the returned item is received and inspected.

Inspection comes first.

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method. Processing typically takes 5-10 business days after approval, depending on the payment provider.

Return freight, restocking fees, missing parts, damage, original outbound freight, or manufacturer charges may be deducted when applicable.
